Osepiribo Ben-Willie is a highly accomplished banking executive with over 25 years of demonstrating expertise in diverse facets of the industry. Adept in business planning, team building, people management, financial compliance/first degree risk assessment, credit administration, and comprehensive skills in investment and wealth management.
She started her banking career as a National Youth Service Corps member with the defunct Credite Bank Nigeria Limited in 1991 as a Treasury Officer. She went on to work with Diamond Bank, Zenith Bank and Stanbic IBTC respectively at different capacities; places where she was recognized as a leading authority in turn-around strategy and execution.
She holds a first degree in Business Management from Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port-Harcourt, A Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Imperial College, London, A Master of Science in Marketing/Business Management from the University of Liverpool, UK, and Chartered Banker – UK/Master of Business Administration from University of Bangor Wales-UK (CBMBA).
Until her retirement, ‘Yemisi was a Council Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Chair of its Demutualization and Technical Committees; she was also Vice-Chair of the Pension Fund Operators’ Association of Nigeria and Chair of its Institute Committee. She previously served as Chairperson, LEAP Africa and Executive Council Member, WIMBIZ.
Recognized as a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration and a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria. Honorary memberships include the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria, reflecting a commitment to excellence and leadership in the financial sector.
