“By ignoring RT’s completely clean record of four consecutive years and stating purely political reasons tied directly to the situation in Ukraine and yet completely unassociated to RT’s operations, structure, management or editorial output, Ofcom has falsely judged RT to not be ‘fit and proper’ and in doing so robbed the UK public of access to information.”
Many of us get stage fright at the thought of public speaking in front of a huge audience or doing something mortifying at a party in front of work colleagues, but it turns out that some people fear rather more mundane situations.
The premier also made clear that the UK intends to push ahead with North Sea oil and gas development – and potentially fracking – saying the country will ‘make better use of our own naturally occurring hydrocarbons’.

After using Face ID-enabled iPhone models over the last several years, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed using Touch ID again. I hadn’t realized how much I missed it. It’s a joy to use Apple Pay by merely laying my thumb on my home button, compared to holding up a Face ID-enabled phone to my face to authenticate before paying with a card. At times, double-tapping the home button felt like a superior way to get into the app switcher.
