Folashade Alli SAN, is an internationally acclaimed Lawyer, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Fellow, and Chartered Arbitrator based in Lagos, Nigeria. She is the Principal Partner of Folashade Alli and Associates, a firm recognized for its excellence in Arbitration, Oil and Gas, and Corporate and Commercial matters. Folashade obtained her LL.M. from the University College London (UCL) in 1987. She was called to the English Bar in 1990, and is a member of the Lincoln’s Inn, London.
Folashade Alli maintains an active involvement in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, and is a member of the Institute’s Professional Conduct Committee. She is a member of the ICC Commission, Paris and serves as the Nigerian representative of the Committee on Task Force on Arbitration and ADR.
She is actively involved in the Nigerian Bar Association and serves in various leadership capacities within the Association both at the National and State level. She drafted the Nigerian Bar Association Sexual Harassment Policy, and is a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Bar Association-Women’s Forum. She is the Vice-Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association- Section on Legal Practice, the Chairman of the International Trade Law Committee Section of Business Law of the NBA, Chairman of the Law Firm Management Section on Legal Practice,
amongst the other roles she performs within the Nigerian Bar Association.
