Omolola Oloworaran is a seasoned leader in the financial sector with over 15 years of experience spanning various high-profile roles in leading financial institutions. Her appointment as Director-General of PenCom marks a significant milestone in a career characterized by expertise in financial management and strategic leadership.
Before joining PenCom, Oloworaran held key positions at FirstBank Nigeria, where she currently serves as Deputy General Manager, Group Head of First Shared Services. Previously, she was Head of Transaction Banking Operations, where her leadership since June 2019 contributed to operational excellence and growth. Her distinguished career also includes a notable tenure at Stanbic IBTC, where she led the International Business Center from January 2016 to June 2019, and served as Head of Global Market Operations, overseeing complex financial systems.
Oloworaran’s diverse experience is further enriched by her strategic consultancy at FDHL GROUP and her foundational roles at Renaissance Capital and Citigroup, where she honed her skills in treasury operations and financial management.
