The Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN), in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) and the NGX Academy, successfully launched the first cohort of the Corporate Governance Program for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This comprehensive situs slot thailand program, spanning three months, combined virtual and physical hands-on training sessions designed to impart the fundamentals of corporate governance.
During the program, participants were engaged in a variety of critical topics, facilitated by seasoned faculties from SCGN, EDC, and NGX Academy. These topics included:

• Financial Reporting, Audit, and Compliance
• Essentials for Stock Exchange Listing
• Ethical Imperatives in Corporate Governance
• Fundamentals of Board Composition
• Board Operations Framework
• Business Advisory
The cohort comprised business owners from diverse sectors such as construction, fashion, and manufacturing. One of the program’s highlights was the board operations simulation, which provided participants with practical, hands-on experience of boardroom dynamics.
To ensure the application of the knowledge gained, participants were paired with accountability partners who will support them in implementing their learnings. Additionally, participants are required to submit quarterly progress reports detailing their implementation efforts.
